This week was traumatic I thought they were all gonna die! First the Deelite was coming in with a big yellow streak through the leaves, and then I realized I had a problem with temperature and humidity. It was too hot and dry in my tent so I bought a Vivosun humidifier and pumped it up to at least 55. The cool mist also helped to bring the temp down. At least that worked until my central AC took a dump on me and it would end up taking 4 days to get a replacement unit (under warranty, saving me >$6K) because this shit ALWAYS happens right before a weekend.

Anyways, the temp in the tent maxed out at about 84 degrees and I think only for a little while. But the Deelite's leaves, already growing in yellow which was improving, were now browning at the tips and some edges. The WW also turned a little brown around some of the edges but it was noticeably not as bad. You could plainly see that the WW was simply a much stronger, happier and more resilient plant.

This week I also installed some airstone bubblers inside the Aerogarden reservoir. And when I replaced all the water in the reservoir I observed that I took out almost 1.5 gallons which means the plants only consumed .5 gallons including evaporation. Seems like a waste but I'm following suggested directions on that front.

Next time I grow I need to replace the air hoses for the air stones to black instead of clear. I had to take extra effort to block light from going down into the water through the air hose when I coulda just bought black hoses. Doh!
