Impressions about plant
Holiday seasons can throw a wrench in best laid plans. Seeds (Critical Purple) were ordered and delivered but, the "Grow tent" was delayed due to weather. I used the suggested paper-towel method (12/14/22) to pop my seed which took 36 hours (12/16/22) to crack and 72 hours (12/17/22) to grow a Tap-root 1/2 inch long at which time I gave it an extra day and placed it in a Solo-cup of soil (I live 6 hours from the nearest store that sells soil so "Ortho-grow seedling mix" was my available choice). This little lady spent her first few days on my desk under a regular LED desk light (still waiting for grow tent delivery.
She grew 5 inches tall in about 48 hours with only the original 2 leaves. Grow tent was delivered (12-19-22) which required moving the room around to make it fit (out of fear of damaging the little lady we put her on the kitchen counter while assembling the tent). She had already stretched to 5 inches and was standing on her own but, the trip to the kitchen stressed her enough that when we grabber her to put her in her new home she had done a complete backbend and her two leaves were resting on the soil (wished I'd have taken a picture). We had to make a makeshift support to help her stand back up.
Lucky for us she pulled through in a day or so and is much happier in the tent.
