Using the suggested paper-towel method for germination / popping seeds my 1st seed met a traumatic death when I dropped it and my cat beat me to it. Second seed started in paper towel on 12/29/2022 and popped on 1/1/2023 and was placed in a Solo cup with Ortho-grow potting soil. on 1/3/2023 Deelite popped up from the soil and through 1/6/2023 looks happy.
