    Amnesia Lemon Regular Cannabis Seeds

Of all the Sativa cultivars that ever existed, it is farfetched to think one could come close to the Original Haze. In many ways, too, this hybrid is greater than the sum of its illustrious parents - all landraces from South America, Thailand, Mexico, and Southern India. Mainly, its reputation is that of delivering unparalleled high-octane energetic and creative high. Cultivating this plant at home, though, could be problematic. For one, it is a tall plant that requires generous vertical space - a luxury that not many people have. Moreover, the flowering time takes 12 to 16 weeks.

Among its many descendants, one that later made a mark in the cannabis scene is Amnesia Haze. Much like the original Haze, it also exerts an intense cerebral experience. It would go on to win the 2004 Cannabis Cup. It also shortened the flowering stage to as early as 10 to 12 weeks.

Improving on the Haze lineage did not stop, in any case. A cross of two distinct Skunk phenotype - dubbed Lemon Skunk - was paired with Amnesia Haze. It brought about significant changes to the genotype, one of which is introducing Indica genes. Furthermore, it also enhanced the flavors by adding a lemony aroma.

The new hybrid, now called Amnesia Lemon, thus affords one with a stimulating mental experience complemented by profound body relaxation. Homegrown Cannabis Co. also offers it as regular seeds. For consumers, this cultivar is equally suitable for recreational and medical use. As for home growers, an immediate benefit is ease of cultivation. More importantly, it is one of the few Haze descendants to have a quick flowering time that lasts 8 to 10 weeks.

Growing Amnesia Lemon from Regular Seeds

On its growth pattern, the most significant deviation from Haze is the Indica structure. As such, it could grow up to only medium size - which is perfect for most indoor setups. To bring it to full potential, the best medium to use is organic soil. Not only does it enhance the terpene profile, but it also helps negate one of the most common problems - maintaining a proper pH level. Hydroponics remains an attractive option, however. Although the alkalinity/acidity tends to tilt more, keeping it in optimal range ensures a vigorous growth.

Once the pre-flowers appear, it is a must to inspect and identify the gender of the plants. In theory, half the plants are likely to be males, which poses the risk of accidental fertilization.

After flipping the switch, it takes 8 to 9 weeks for Amnesia Lemon to finish flowering. Under the Screen of Green and 600 watts HPS lamp, it can yield up to 550 grams per square meter.

Raising the plants outdoor is possible in locations where there is adequate exposure to sunshine. In the northern hemisphere, the harvest time typically falls in the first to second week of September. Under a conducive environment, it is possible to coax up to 500 grams out of each plant.

    Fragrance and Flavor

Amnesia Lemon, so named for its fruity fragrance, has an incredibly delightful earthy, citrusy smell. Lemon Skunk, on the other hand, brings a subtle skunky note while further strengthening the lemony odor.

    Effects

Amnesia Lemon does not enjoy the status accorded to its prestigious parents. However, the effects it delivers is indeed at par with the more famous cultivars. It takes one soaring high up in the clouds minutes after the first couple of hits by smoking or vaping. A euphoric buzz swarming into the head can melt away stress and uplifts the spirit. Quickly, too, the demeanor changes to upbeat, thereby promoting sociability, laughter, and hearty conversations.

When consumed in moderation, it might even enhance productivity by not only inducing mental clarity but also raising the ability to focus. For the next half hour or so, it energizes and keeps one physically active.

As the transition to the physical high starts, the calming effects of Amnesia Lemon becomes noticeable. It begins with a gentle, soothing sensation creeping into the body. Gradually, this calming buzz turns more intense, loosening tension from the muscles. Consequently, the will to be engaged in activities starts to dissipate. If the dosage is high enough, then it is likely to confine one to the couch, basking in utter bliss and tranquility. Drowsiness sets in eventually.

At a high dosage, some adverse effects associated with the use of hybrids become pronounced - dry eyes and cottonmouth. Quite possibly, too, some people may have a headache or experience momentary dizziness. Once the THC compounds become excessive, then it may lead to troubling reactions such as feeling anxious.

    Amnesia Lemon Regular Seeds

Regular seeds bring forth benefits not found in other types of seeds. For one, it guarantees the preservation of the lineage. Homegrown Cannabis Co. also ensures that due to superior genetics, Amnesia Lemon tends to be more resistant to pests and diseases. Granted that males almost have no value, and could even cause accidental pollination, the quality, and the size of yield more than makes up.
