Impressions about plant
I am an old school grower, both indoor and outdoor. The advantages and disadvantages are easy to figure the basics. Outdoor growing is extremely expensive for the legal requirements (if you're in a state that has legalized medical Marijuana)in my state, you have to enclose the growing area and it must have a enclosed top as well. I'm using a old Cheetah dwelling and enclosed run or I would have to go inside to grow. If you have outside plants, put them in 5 gallon buckets (for moving inside in bad winds and hail, freezing temperatures ect.) The buckets need to be able to drain the water. I have found that it is important that you have indica dominant strains for bucket growing. The indica dominant strains are usually short and fat, with great production. I was so late in planting outside (put seeds in the ground June 9th! I am so surprised at the amount of buds this girl has provided! It has a kola that is approximately 180 grams, and 17 pinned limb kolas! The plant is going to dry out, trimmed and de-stemmed, cured in quart jars, the final weight will be 35 ounces +or- 3- ounces. I have to wait for the plants to reach maturity (I harvest them when the THC bulbs turn cloudy ⛅, once they start to turn amber, the plant is loosing THC bulbs and producing a psychotropic effect on the consumer of the buds. Growing outside will give the best yield, but mother nature has control. Bugs, deer, flooding, other weather related problems. You have control over everything if you are growing inside. Temperature, humidity, water 💧, wind speed, a fan is a necessity to keep mold down and build strong stems. The growing area will have to have a good carbon filter to eliminate all of the sweet smelling buds. This is a necessity for anyone who is growing indoors. If you can afford it, buy a good quality LED growing light, it'll have all of the light spectrum your girls will love and the light is very cool, I can hold my hand directly on the led and no heat, if you touch a HPS light when it is on,not only will you get a very bad burn, but the light is going to burst and "high pressure sodium" means that the shavings of glass will pack a punch and you can be severely injured. The HPS Doesn't have the ability to provide you with the same spectrum as the LED, the best way to grow safely is with a LED full spectrum light. I don't use nutrients, but I use 30 year old horse manure (1/2 gal. Per 3 gallon bucket), my best mix is 1/2 gal. dry and old horse manure 1/2gal. peat moss, 2 gallons topsoil.
