    Marmalate Regular

Marmalate is a fusion of contrasts. For instance, Critical Mass - an Indica hybrid - resembles a Sativa physically. On the other hand, Lavender is the opposite - a Sativa hybrid that looks more like an Indica. These two cultivars meet, giving birth to a profoundly relaxing progeny that effuses a delightful fragrance.

Critical Mass itself traces its roots to the illustrious Skunk #1 and an Afghani landrace. Its name alludes to the one thing that sets it apart from practically all the hybrids ever created - monster-sized buds that threaten to snap its stems. It is one of the most popular cultivars not only among the consuming public. Breeders worldwide also use it to enhance or enlarge the buds of both old and new hybrids.

Beneath the Surface, the fragrant Lavender shares the practically same lineage as Critical Mass. It is a three-way cross between Super Skunk, Big Skunk Korean, and Afghani Hawaiian. Since its inception, the spicy, flowery scent it emits has come to become its signature trait.

In a nutshell, the union of these two genetic forerunners is a marriage of huge, dense buds and insanely delectable flavors. And it can be unforgiving too. With up to 21% THC, its effects can be devastatingly sublime. More importantly, it is an easy-to-grow cultivar, and Homegrown Cannabis Co. delivers Marmalate regular seeds to almost any point in the world.

    Growing Marmalate from Regular Seeds

Marmalate is a medium-sized plant that thrives indoors and outdoors. The influence of Afghani is evident in its structure and growth pattern. Being naturally hardy and resilient, even beginners in cannabis cultivation should not have a challenging time raising it to full maturity. It also helps that this cultivar is resistant to common pests and molds. All it needs is discipline in maintaining the optimal growing conditions.

To bring out the best in flavors, use organic soil. Soilless mediums such as hydroponics, on the other hand, ensures a more explosive growth. However, it entails diligent monitoring of the pH level. Unlike soil, it does not have a buffer. Thus, it fluctuates more.

One way to ensure a high-quality harvest is to use the ScrOG training method. The resilience of Marmalate allows it to withstand pruning. With an even distribution of light on the upper canopy, all the buds will attain full potential - traits and overall yield.

Once triggered, the flowering time takes an average of 7 to 8 weeks. Under the right conditions, each square meter could yield up to 500 grams.

Outdoors, this cultivar thrives in a warm, sunny environment. In the northern hemisphere, the harvest is possible by the first week of September, with each plant producing up to 600 grams.

Note: These are regular seeds. As such, the male to female ratio is 50/50. Hence, when planning to raise a batch, double up on the desired number of plants to account for the males that turn up and needs to be discarded.

    Fragrance and Flavor

The complexities of the terpenes found in this cultivar introduce old, familiar scents from its lineage, as well as added new ones. It effuses a piney scent with a fruity blend of grape and sweet vanilla notes.

    Effects

During the onset, Marmalate delivers an uplifting, euphoric buzz. In an instant, it takes out mental woes, ushering in the sense of happiness. The initial psychoactive effects are more pleasant than it is intense. It is only a prelude of things to come, though, as the physical effects kick in after some 20-40 minutes.

It starts with a soothing sensation drifting down the spine, and then the calm spreads towards the extremities. Tensions melt as the muscles loosen. At this point, this cultivar enhances the mood further while leaving one relaxed. The physical effects gradually increase in intensity, and laziness sets in, eventually leading to couch-lock and sleepiness.

At moderate to high dosage, the body stone is incredibly relaxing. It may also leave one in a dreamy high, or lost in deep introspection. However, it also induces dry mouth, dry eyes, and possibly dizziness too. Once the dose is excessive, then it may also cause some people to feel anxious or paranoid.

    Marmalate Regular Seeds

Critical Mass can produce humongous buds. Lavender, in this instance, contributed to the complex terpene profile that not only exudes pleasing odor. It also enhances the effects of the cannabinoids in a process called "entourage effect." As one, Marmalate retains the mostly Indica genotype and superb resin production.

Regardless if used for leisure or medication, this cultivar can deliver on both ends. First, though, it needs to be obtained. Homegrown Cannabis Co. makes it convenient and can ship it worldwide, discretely.
